1- What is Takatof?
A social volunteering programme in United Arab Emirates that established in 2005. Takatof vision is to offer a better community by offering people social volunteering projects. It offers the society creative solutions under the dress of volunteering.
established in 2005 in the UAE under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and the Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces. Takatof was launched in Abu Dhabi in April 2007 with an inaugural school renovation event.
3- What volunteer work have they done?
A- Volunteering in the Health Sector:
Volunteers for this programme perform highly useful health and administrative activities at hospitals and health centres.
B- Takatof for Special Needs:
Participation in this programme provides frequent opportunities for volunteers to utilize their leisure time through voluntary work for people with special needs.
C- Takatof International Volunteering Programme:
This programme offers volunteers an opportunity to develop their skills and experiences outside the country, while taking part in socially responsible activities.
4- How can you help?
- I can help by volunteering one time at least with them, to help my society and to get some knowledge.
- Spreading the idea of volunteering is also a help for the organization and it will get people to volunteer and help.
